The ask:

Working collaboratively across the team, design and illustrate the key fashion looks that would set the creative direction for the entire season's product assortment.

Discovery:

Through collaborative trend research, three key themes emerged for the season: casual dressing, shorts for all occasions, and summer dresses.

To bridge the gap between May's Americana palette and the warmth of summer, Navy and Red were paired with Broad Turquoise, Coral Glow, and Fly Yellow—forming June's final color palette.

Action:

Designed and illustrated the 3 key outfits that would direct the development of the entire product line

Partnered with textile designers to develop bold stripe repeats for yarn-dyed fabrics and build out a range of artwork motifs, then explored a variety of colorways to land on the combinations that best complemented the styled outfits.

Action:

Developed technical flats and tech packs for 60% of June's assortment, collaborating daily with manufacturers to sample and finalize designs.
